🕒 MOT BOOKINGS – PLEASE READ BEFORE YOUR VISIT

We now offer timed MOT appointments Monday to Friday through our dedicated MOT bay.

This has been introduced to make MOTs more convenient, reduce waiting times and give customers the option to book a specific time rather than relying on availability when turning up.

📅 If you have a timed MOT booking

Please:

• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment

• This gives us time to check your vehicle in and keep the MOT bay running on schedule

• If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to carry out your MOT and you may need to rebook

⚠️ Our timed MOT appointments are strictly time-managed so we can keep things running efficiently for all customers.

🚗 Can I still turn up without a booking?

Yes. Our traditional while-you-wait MOT service is still available.

However, please be aware that turning up without a booking does not guarantee we will have space available, particularly during busy periods.

If you need your MOT completed at a particular time or on a particular day, we strongly recommend booking online in advance.

Timed MOT bookings are available Monday to Friday.

🗓️ Saturdays

Our Saturday service remains while-you-wait only.

No bookings are required or taken for Saturdays.

Simply turn up as usual and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.

💡 HELP YOUR MOT PASS FIRST TIME

A few quick checks before you arrive can make a big difference:

💡 Check all lights and bulbs are working

🚿 Make sure your wipers clean the windscreen properly and your washer bottle is topped up

🛞 Check your tyres are in good condition and have sufficient tread

🚨 Check that there are no warning lights showing on the dashboard

These simple checks can help avoid some of the most common MOT failures.

🔧 ALL OTHER BOOKINGS – SERVICE, DIAGNOSTICS & REPAIRS

For all non-MOT work, including:

• Servicing

• Diagnostics

• Brakes & repairs

• General workshop repairs

• Other mechanical work

⏰ Please drop your vehicle off between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM

Your vehicle will normally need to be left with us for the day.

Unlike an MOT, most workshop jobs cannot be allocated an exact completion time.

We plan and allocate work throughout the day based on:

• Technician skill sets

• Job complexity

• Parts availability

• Diagnostic requirements

• Work already booked into the workshop

Bringing your vehicle in early allows us to organise the workshop efficiently and helps us complete jobs as quickly as possible.

This helps us:

✅ Allocate the right technician to the job
✅ Reduce unnecessary delays
✅ Get vehicles completed as quickly as possible

To make your visit as smooth as possible, please:

🔑 Make sure locking wheel nut keys are accessible

📖 Leave service books/history in the vehicle where relevant

⏰ Arrive within your allocated drop-off time

📞 Please answer your phone – we may need authorisation for additional work or need to update you on your vehicle

⛽ Have sufficient fuel in the vehicle, particularly for diagnostics or road testing

📝 Tell us about any faults or concerns so we can make sure nothing is missed

For MOTs, booking Monday to Friday is the best way to secure your preferred time.

Prefer to turn up? That’s still fine – our while-you-wait service remains available, subject to space.

And on Saturdays, it’s still our traditional while-you-wait service with no bookings required.
